COMPLEX COAXIAL VIDEO CABLES
These multiple-conductor camera cables are applicable for professional video cameras, steady cams, and anywhere that extremely flexible video cables are needed.
Many of these cables use 50W coaxial video cores to keep them as small and flexible as possible. The 50W spec should not usually be of concern even with 75W equipment because the video wavelength is rather long (66ft/20m). Reflection loss from the impedance mismatch is minimal in cables one wavelength long or shorter. For longer cable lengths, high frequencies, or when attenuation is of utmost importance, choose cables with strictly adjusted 75W coaxial cores.

GUITAR CABLES

Most musical instrument sound pick-ups, for example those in electric guitars, are comprised of high impedance circuits driven mainly by voltage, with very little electrical current flow. That is why handling noise (microphonics) can be a problem for guitar cables. Microphonic noise is caused by the minute voltage generated when a cable is flexed, stepped on, etc. Guitar cables must be designed to prevent this, so a conductive PVC layer is placed under the shield conductor to drain away this voltage. Note: This conductive layer must be stripped back when wiring, or a partial short will result.
